Every passenger passes through security. Most bags are completely unremarkable. A few are not. The x-ray screen shows everything in outline, and it is your job to tell the difference before the bag makes it past the checkpoint.

Airport X-Ray Simulator is a first-person simulation in which the player takes the role of an airport baggage security operative, screening checked luggage as it moves along the conveyor belt through an x-ray machine. Each bag's contents appear as the characteristic colour-coded x-ray image, and the player must identify prohibited items — weapons, liquids, electronics configured suspiciously, and other contraband — before flagging them for secondary screening or clearing the bag to continue. The simulation models the real cognitive challenge of x-ray screening: bags are packed densely, items overlap, and the volume of luggage increases with difficulty. Adjustable difficulty settings control the pace of the conveyor and the clarity of x-ray images, making the game accessible to both casual and more focused players. The game received full controller support and is verified for Steam Deck play. It entered Early Access in December 2024 and is actively updated based on community feedback.
