Up to 150 players parachute onto a massive map, scavenge for weapons and equipment, and fight until one squad is standing. Call of Duty: Warzone is the free-to-play battle royale built on the Call of Duty engine — fast movement, precise gunplay and the full customisable loadout system that CoD multiplayer players already know. The signature Gulag mechanic gives eliminated players a second chance: fight another eliminated player one-on-one and win to redeploy. Teammates still alive can also buy you back at a Buy Station using cash found during the match.

Warzone integrates with whichever Call of Duty title is current — Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Black Ops 6, Black Ops 7 — carrying your weapons, operators and cosmetics across titles and into the battle royale. The game evolves each season with new maps, modes, limited-time events and crossover content. Current modes include Battle Royale, Resurgence (fast-respawn on Rebirth Island), and Black Ops Royale. Maps include the returning Verdansk, Rebirth Island and the large-scale Al Mazrah.
