The Raptures came and destroyed the surface. Humanity retreated underground into the Ark. The only weapons capable of fighting back are the Nikkes — android soldiers built from the accumulated knowledge of a desperate civilisation. The Commander leads them back to the surface.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is a free-to-play third-person cover shooter RPG in which the player commands a squad of five Nikkes against waves of Rapture enemies in a post-apocalyptic world. Combat takes place in cover-based arenas: the player taps to fire, swipes to dodge incoming attacks and activates skills and Burst abilities by filling the Burst Gauge through sustained combat. Switching between active Nikkes mid-battle chains ability effects. Each Nikke is a collectable character with a distinct weapon type, role and story. Campaign stages advance an extensive main narrative complemented by character-specific side stories. Additional modes include the Lost Sector, Arena PvP, Interception boss battles and Simulation content. The game uses high-quality Live2D character animation in cutscenes and the base. Hyung-tae Kim, the artist and director known for Blade and Soul's character design, led the visual development. Crossover events have featured Chainsaw Man, NieR: Automata, Evangelion and other major anime and game franchises.
