Hill Climb Racing 2 is a free-to-play 2D physics-based racing game developed and published by Fingersoft — the Finnish studio founded in Oulu by Toni Fingerroos, whose original Hill Climb Racing (2012) became the 7th most downloaded mobile game of the 2010s with over 500 million downloads. The sequel was originally developed as a separate title called "Awesome Racing," but its fans immediately recognised it as Hill Climb Racing 2 — and that is what it became. Launched in November/December 2016, it reached 20 million installs in its first month and has since grown to over 100 million downloads on Google Play alone, holding the title of all-time top-grossing racing game on the Android platform.

Key Features: • Physics-based 2D racing — gas + brake on challenging terrain; non-realistic physics depth • Asynchronous multiplayer — race ghost times of friends and global players on the same stages • Deep vehicle upgrades — engine, suspension, tires, 4WD + 14+ unique tuning parts • 30+ stages — daily and weekly competitions; leaderboard climbing
