Kenshi is a squad-based sandbox RPG developed and published by Lo-Fi Games — a project begun in 2006 by Chris Hunt, a Bristol game designer who coded it alone while working as a security guard at night, and finished twelve years later with a small team. One of the most genuinely unique games ever released on PC, Kenshi places no narrative guardrails around you whatsoever: you are not the chosen one, you have no special powers, and the world does not care about you. You begin weak — possibly enslaved, starving, missing a limb — in a vast, hostile post-apocalyptic world where the only guarantee is that it will try to kill you.

Key Features: • No story, no tutorial, no guidance — the world is hostile and doesn't care who you are • 870 km² seamless handcrafted world — warring factions, distinct cultures, total freedom of role • Squad management — individual health, limb loss, prosthetics, skills, morale, equipment • Be anything — trader, rebel, warlord, farmer, slave, outpost builder, or cannibal food
