Twelve heists across New York settings — banks, art galleries, drug labs, tech companies — each with distinct stealth routes, security systems and loud escalation dynamics. A reworked skill and loadout system allows deep build customisation across Perk Decks and weapon modifications. The Favour system adds run-specific modifiers and shortcuts. Cross-platform play connects PC, PS5 and Xbox Series players. Post-launch, Starbreeze has released multiple free and paid heist updates and an extensive roadmap for Year 2 content.
