Guide settlers to a remote planet. Build a self-sufficient colony. Survive storms, disasters and the void of space.

A colony ship arrives in orbit around a hostile alien world. Your settlers — a handful of pioneers, engineers and biologists — descend to the surface with nothing but the equipment they carried. Build a habitat. Generate power. Grow food. Extract water. And try to keep everyone alive when the first storm hits.

Planetbase is a colony-building survival strategy game played from a bird's-eye perspective across four distinct planet types — a dry rocky world, a frozen ice moon, a wind-blasted desert, and a storm-wracked jungle — each with unique resource profiles, hazards and environmental challenges. The entire colony runs on an AI-driven simulation: every colonist has a role, every building has dependencies, and a single miscalculation in your power or food chain can cascade into a base-wide crisis. Night cycles, meteor impacts, solar flares and dust storms all threaten the colony's survival. As the base grows, you manage increasingly complex logistical networks spanning dozens of building types, robotic workers and research paths. Steam Workshop supports community scenarios and mods. Updated to Unity 2022 in September 2024 after nine years of active development by a small Spanish studio.

Key Features: • Four planet types — rocky world, icy moon, desert and jungle — each with distinct challenges • AI-driven colony simulation — every colonist and building interconnected in a live system • Dynamic disasters: dust storms, meteor impacts, solar flares, pirate attacks • Research tree, robotic workers, multiple power sources and food chains
