Team up with trainers from every Pokémon generation and battle together in real-time three-on-three fights.

The island of Pasio is a place where trainers from every region of the Pokémon world gather to compete. Red is here. Misty is here. N is here. Every trainer carries the partner Pokémon that defined them, and they all fight together in real time.

Pokémon Masters EX is a mobile RPG in which the player collects sync pairs — trainer and partner Pokémon duos drawn from across the main series games — and assembles teams of three to battle in real-time three-versus-three fights. Each sync pair has a role, a type and a set of moves that charge in real time, requiring the player to manage move gauges across all three pairs simultaneously. Sync moves are powerful combined attacks that become available once per battle per pair and visually represent the bond between trainer and Pokémon. The game's story is set on Pasio, an artificial island created specifically for sync pair competition, and follows the player character forming alliances with trainers from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and beyond. Gacha scouts summon new sync pairs with varying rarity. Seasonal events introduce story chapters featuring specific trainer pairings and limited-time sync pairs. DeNA has continued active development since the game's 2019 launch.
