What does one life really matter? One billion years hence. Your answer will define you.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is a story-driven role-playing game developed by inXile Entertainment — a spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment (1999) that asks one central question: what does one life really matter? Funded through Kickstarter in March 2013, it is set in Monte Cook's science-fantasy tabletop RPG setting of Numenera, one billion years in the future, in a world where eight great civilisations have risen and fallen, leaving behind technological relics that most inhabitants regard as magic.

Key Features: • Story-first CRPG — more words than most novels, character interaction and dialogue above combat • The Tides — five moral philosophy colour codes that track your actions and shape the world's reaction • Numenera setting — one billion years in the future, science-fantasy ruins of eight lost civilisations
