WWE 2K24 celebrates forty years of WrestleMania — the annual spectacle that has defined professional wrestling's relationship with mainstream entertainment since 1985. Cover athlete Rhea Ripley, Women's World Champion and the face of a new generation, leads a roster of over 200 playable superstars spanning legends and current stars across both men's and women's divisions.

The centrepiece of WWE 2K24's single-player content is 2K Showcase of the Immortals, a documentary-style interactive retelling of WrestleMania history from the original event at Madison Square Garden through WrestleMania 40 — with the main event match of each edition recreated as a playable scenario. MyRISE Career Mode follows a customisable male and female created superstar through branching narrative paths in the WWE. Universe Mode simulates an entire WWE calendar of weekly shows and pay-per-views. MyFACTION provides card-based team building with online competition. The roster includes returning match types absent since 2K14 — Ambulance, Casket and Gauntlet — plus the Bray Wyatt Edition's debut of The Fiend as a newly playable character honouring the late Windham Rotunda. Creation Suite tools allow deep customisation of arenas, superstars and championships.
