Snowboard down a procedural mountain, chase your llamas and find peace in the rhythm of the run.

The llamas have escaped into the mountains. Alto straps on his snowboard and goes after them. The mountain is procedurally generated, the weather changes as you run and the sky moves through dawn, day, dusk and night in real time. It is a game about momentum and atmosphere as much as it is about score.

Alto's Adventure is an endless snowboarding runner in which the player taps to jump and holds to perform backflips, chaining tricks across a procedurally generated mountain landscape. Six playable characters — Alto, Maya, Paz, Felipe, Izel and Tupa — each bring a distinct ability, from faster speed to longer grinds and higher jumps. The goal system provides 180 structured objectives that guide progression and unlock new characters and items, while the looser moment-to-moment appeal comes from the mountain's dynamic weather, its shifting time of day and the meditative rhythm of a long uninterrupted run. Zen Mode removes scores and goals entirely, leaving only the mountain, the soundtrack and the motion. The game's visual design — a minimalist palette that changes dramatically with the weather and time of day — was widely noted at launch as among the most beautiful seen on a mobile device.
