The dungeon is full of monsters, traps and other adventurers who want whatever is in your inventory. The Dark Swarm is contracting. The extraction point is somewhere on the other side of all of it. Getting out alive with loot intact is the entire game.

Dark and Darker Mobile is an extraction RPG and PvPvE dungeon crawler in which players drop into procedurally arranged dungeon environments, collect loot from chests and enemies, and attempt to escape through extraction points before the Dark Swarm — a shrinking deadly zone borrowed from the battle royale format — closes off the dungeon. Three-player squads or solo runs are both viable. Six classes each change the approach fundamentally: the Fighter is durable, the Rogue moves unseen, the Wizard deals high damage at risk, the Cleric heals and exorcises undead, the Ranger attacks from distance and the Barbarian overwhelms through brute force. The overlap between class encounters, monster encounters and the time pressure of the Dark Swarm creates emergent tense situations in every run. The game is a mobile adaptation of Ironmace's Dark and Darker PC extraction RPG, developed by Bluehole Studio under a Krafton licence. It soft-launched in the United States and Canada in February 2025 and released globally in August 2025.
