The World's Game. 19,000 players, 700 teams, 100 stadiums. The last chapter under the FIFA name.

FIFA 23 is the thirtieth and final game in EA Sports' long-running FIFA series, closing a thirty-year partnership between Electronic Arts and the governing body of world football before both parties moved on separately. It is the most complete version of the formula: more players, more leagues, more content and the most technically advanced football simulation EA had built to that point.

HyperMotion2 technology captures real match data from professional footballers to drive player movement and contact animations, producing more organic collisions, celebrations and reactions than previous entries. FIFA 23 introduced women's club football to the series for the first time, allowing players to compete as teams from the Women's Super League and Division 1 Féminine alongside the men's game. Both the men's and women's FIFA World Cup 2022 were playable as free in-game updates. Ultimate Team returns as the series' dominant mode, with a revamped chemistry system. Career Mode, Volta Football, Pro Clubs and online Seasons round out the package. Cross-play was introduced between PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series for the first time in series history. FIFA 23 was removed from digital storefronts in September 2023 and is only accessible now via the EA Play subscription or existing ownership.
