A procedurally generated galaxy awaits — hundreds of star systems, ancient anomalies, strange worlds and the ruins of a civilisation called the Endless who shaped the universe with a substance called Dust before they mysteriously vanished. Eight distinct alien species compete to fill the void they left: the militaristic United Empire, the scientific Sophons, the narcissistic cloning Horatio, the pacifist vine-wielding Unfallen, the hivemind Cravers and more. Each plays entirely differently and pursues its own vision of galactic dominance.

ENDLESS Space 2 is a turn-based 4X space strategy — explore, expand, exploit, exterminate — built around deeply asymmetric civilisation design and a richly imagined science fiction universe. Star systems are colonised and developed through a detailed planetary improvement system, with hero characters levelling up across skill trees to lead fleets, govern planets and influence the senate. Politics is tracked through a faction approval system that shapes the laws available to the player each game. Naval combat resolves in a cinematic real-time viewer where positioned cards determine weapon loadouts and tactics. The Dust economy underpins everything — the mysterious substance left by the Endless is currency, power source and mystical force simultaneously. GAMES2GETHER allowed the community to vote on development priorities during production.
