Family Island is a farming and adventure game set in a Stone Age world reshaped by a mysterious cataclysm. The player manages a family — Bruce, Eva and their children — on a series of islands, gathering resources, crafting tools and structures, expanding the home base and exploring new island areas via a raft. The game blends the resource loop of farming games with exploration quests that push the family further into the archipelago, revealing new biomes, characters and story beats. An energy system gates the speed of resource gathering and crafting, refilling over time or through premium Rubies. Production chains convert basic materials into more advanced goods needed for expansion tasks. Seasonal events introduce themed areas and limited-time quest lines. Family Island has been continuously updated since its 2019 launch and is one of Melsoft's primary live service titles alongside My Café.
