Four friends on a road trip. A kingdom lost. A destiny that will cost everything, even the sun itself.

Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum is leaving home to marry Lady Lunafreya, accompanied by his three closest friends — bodyguard Gladiolus, advisor Ignis and childhood friend Prompto. While they drive across the kingdom in the Regalia, news arrives: Insomnia has fallen. Noctis's father is dead. The Crystal is gone. What was supposed to be a road trip becomes a journey across a war-torn world to reclaim a legacy, face a destiny no one warned him about, and find out what it costs to be a king.

Final Fantasy XV is built around brotherhood — the four protagonists eating, camping, fishing, bickering and growing together as the road stretches on. Combat is real-time and kinetic: Noctis warps between positions and calls down Royal Arms from another dimension, while his companions act autonomously and respond to tactical commands. The open world of Eos spans deserts, coastlines, forests and the spectacular canal city of Altissia. The PC version includes all DLC — Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, Episode Ignis and Episode Ardyn, each focusing on a different character — plus the Comrades multiplayer expansion, native 4K, HDR10 and mod support via Steam Workshop. A ten-year journey from announcement as Final Fantasy Versus XIII to release.
