The Onion Kingdom is once again in peril. A cookbook has summoned an army of Hangry zombie bread creatures, and only the finest chefs in the land can prepare enough food to hold them back. One to four players must cook, plate and serve dishes across a series of increasingly chaotic kitchens before time and patience run out simultaneously.

Overcooked! 2 is a co-operative kitchen chaos game in which players manage every step of a meal — chopping, cooking, plating and washing up — in kitchens that actively refuse to be convenient. Levels take place on hot air balloons, moving sushi bars, crumbling wizarding towers, ice floes, haunted mansions and dozens of other improbable venues, each introducing a new spatial or mechanical wrinkle that forces the team to constantly reorganise. The key new mechanic from the original is the ability to throw ingredients across gaps and between stations, opening new coordination strategies and new catastrophic failures. Up to four players cooperate locally or online, and competitive versus modes are available for groups who have run out of patience with each other. Three-star ratings on each level provide a target for perfectionist replays. Seven DLC packs expand the level and chef roster. Ghost Town Games developed the original Overcooked and co-developed the sequel with Team17, before the series was fully absorbed into Team17. The all-in-one remaster Overcooked! All You Can Eat released in 2020 with both games, all DLC and new content.
