Rocket-powered cars. A giant ball. Two teams. Five minutes to score more goals than the other side. Free to play.

Two teams of rocket-powered cars. One enormous ball. A five-minute countdown. The objective is the same as every sport that has ever existed — score more than the other team — but almost nothing about how it plays is ordinary.

Rocket League combines the physical rules of vehicular movement with the spatial demands of high-level ball sports into something that is simultaneously accessible in its first minute and infinitely deep over thousands of hours. Cars can drive on walls and ceilings. Boost is finite and must be collected from pads on the arena floor. The ball follows realistic physics. At the highest levels, players execute aerial manoeuvres — flying through the air on a precise boost trajectory to strike a ball moving at hundreds of kilometres per hour — that take months to reliably learn and years to master. The ranked mode scales from Bronze to Supersonic Legend across multiple playlists: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and rotating extra modes. Car customisation is cosmetic only and does not affect gameplay. The Rocket Championship Series runs as a fully professional esport with major tournaments and regional leagues. Rocket Pass seasons provide a progression track of cosmetic unlocks. Cross-platform play connects all platforms. Free to play since September 2020.
