The Invincible

The Invincible is a first-person story-driven adventure developed by Starward Industries and published by 11 bit studios — a faithful and philosophically rich adaptation of Stanisław Lem's 1964 hard science fiction novel of the same name, one of the most celebrated works of Polish science fiction. You play as Yasna, a highly qualified astrobiologist who wakes on the alien planet Regis III with holes in her memory and her crew missing. Armed with atompunk tools — devices that evoke the mid-20th century retrofuturism of Lem's original vision — she must traverse the planet's harsh landscape, piece together what happened, and confront the nature of intelligence, life and human arrogance on the frontier of the cosmos.

Key Features: • Stanisław Lem adaptation — faithful to the 1964 hard sci-fi novel's philosophy and visual world • Atompunk aesthetic — analogue technology, diesel rovers, vacuum tubes; no digital era here • Philosophical choices and multiple endings — narrative branches driven by reflection, not combat • Regis III — the planet is the antagonist; a world with intelligence that has no use for humanity
