You are a vampire, risen from centuries of slumber, frail and starving in a world that has long since learned to fight your kind. Feed to survive. Avoid the sun. Grow powerful enough to build a castle, raise thralls, and reclaim the night — while hunters, priests and rival vampires work to destroy everything you build.

V Rising is an open-world survival crafting game played from a top-down isometric perspective, built entirely around the vampire fantasy. Every ability, spell and passive power is unlocked by hunting and defeating V Blood bosses — powerful named creatures scattered across the world whose blood carries unique gifts. The day/night cycle is a genuine threat: sunlight deals damage, forcing players to plan routes through shade or sprint between shadows. Castle construction uses a building grid system that allows highly customisable gothic fortresses, from basic shelters to multi-storey keeps with throne rooms, alchemy labs and servant quarters. Servers support solo, private co-op or large PvP communities. The game runs entirely as a multiplayer title even in solo — community dedicated servers are abundant and free. Released to PC on 8 May 2024 after two years in Early Access.
