Slain in battle, sent to purgatory. Build your legend across a mythic Norse world — and earn Odin's favour.

You are a slain Viking warrior, sent by the Valkyries not to Valhalla but to Valheim — the tenth Norse world, a vast purgatory of forests, mountains, swamps, oceans and stranger things. Odin watches. To earn his favour and passage to the halls of the honoured dead, you must defeat the ancient enemies that stalk this realm: mighty primordial bosses whose death unlocks new materials, new recipes and access to new biomes. The world generates differently for every playthrough. The sea and its secrets are yours to chart.

Valheim is a survival and building game for one to ten players, set across a procedurally generated Norse world of distinct biomes — each with its own weather, enemies, resources and boss. Combat is physics-driven and satisfying, with stamina-based blocking, parrying and dodging against enemies that react to your movements. Shipbuilding and ocean exploration open new continents. The building system is unusually expressive — structural integrity matters, wood yields to stone to iron in progression, and the results range from humble shelters to enormous mead halls. Developed by a team of five people, Valheim sold five million copies in its first month and ten million within a year and a half. It remains in Early Access as Iron Gate completes the final biome, the Deep North. PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 ports are planned for 2026.

Key Features: • Procedurally generated Norse world across 9 distinct biomes · sail to new continents • Physics-based combat — stamina, parry, dodge · eight major bosses to defeat • Structural integrity building system — wood, stone and iron construction tiers • 1–10 player co-op on player-hosted server
