A WW1 bunker. No way out. One monster somewhere in the dark. Keep the generator running and pray it does not find you.

France, 1916. French soldier Henri Clement wakes alone in a WW1 bunker with no memory of how he got there. The exits are sealed. His comrades are gone. Something lives in the walls — large, relentless and drawn to sound. Henri has a revolver with a handful of bullets, a hand-cranked dynamo torch, and whatever he can scavenge from the rooms he dares to enter.

Amnesia: The Bunker is the most mechanically ambitious game in Frictional Games' catalogue, departing from the linear structure of its predecessors for a semi-open sandbox horror. The bunker is a single interconnected space that the player must manage as a whole rather than progress through sequentially: doors can be blown open with grenades, resources are finite and non-replenishing, and the generator that powers the lights must be manually wound every few minutes or the bunker plunges into darkness. The creature responds to sound — gunshots, running footsteps, explosive blasts — and its AI-driven patrol means every encounter is different. Items can be combined and used creatively; the physics-based world rewards improvisation. Each attempt to escape requires a different sequence of problems to solve across the same space, making the bunker feel genuinely dangerous long after its layout is memorised. Steam Workshop supports community-created content.

Key Features: • Semi-open sandbox bunker · generator must be manually wound to keep lights on • AI-driven creature responds to sound • Physics-based world - finite non-replenishing resources • Frictional Games (Amnesia: The Dark Descent, SOMA) - 4th Amnesia game
