Combining Jokers with Tarot cards that modify individual cards in the deck, Planet cards that upgrade specific poker hand base scores and Spectral cards with rare effects creates emergent runs that play differently every time. Boss Blinds introduce debuffs that challenge the current strategy. The game was created by a solo developer known as LocalThunk, released in February 2024 and became one of the fastest-selling and most-discussed games of the year, reaching five million copies sold within months.
