The Bloons are coming down the track. Towers placed along the sides will pop them. The question is which towers, where they go and how they are upgraded — because the Bloons keep coming and the combinations possible from 56 towers with three upgrade paths each are effectively infinite.

Bloons TD 6 is a tower defence game in which the player places monkey towers along a track to pop waves of balloons (Bloons) before they reach the exit. Each of the 56-plus towers has three independent upgrade paths leading to tier-5 specialisations, and Paragon upgrades merge all three paths into a single supreme form. Heroes provide unique abilities that level up automatically over the course of a game. The CHIMPS difficulty mode — No Continues, Hearts, Income, Monkey Knowledge, Powers or Sells — is the game's most demanding challenge, restricting the player to raw placement skill. Boss Events add unique Bloon bosses with massive health pools that scale with community progress. Odyssey mode provides multi-map challenge runs. Two-to-four player co-op is available online. Steam Workshop modding support has extended the game's map and content library substantially beyond the base game. Ninja Kiwi has continued releasing major free content updates since launch in 2018, adding towers, heroes, maps and modes without a microtransaction requirement for core content.
