No More Heroes III

FU was a boy from Earth who left with an alien and came back decades later as the leader of a Galactic Superhero invasion. His ten commanders are ranked. Travis Touchdown, retired assassin and professional wrestling fan, is the only person on Earth willing to fight all of them in order.

No More Heroes III is a character action game directed by Goichi "Suda51" Suda and described by him as Travis Touchdown's final chapter. Travis fights his way up the Galactic Superhero Rankings by defeating ten alien bosses in ranked combat, each introduced with their own stylised title card and boss arena. Combat centres on the beam katana, Death Glove special attacks, wrestling throws and a cooldown-based special gauge. The open world of Santa Destroy returns, populated with side jobs, minigames and NPC interactions that contrast the game's absurdist energy with mundane tasks. The fourth wall is treated as a suggestion throughout — the game's metatextual relationship with video game conventions, fandom and Suda51's own career is a persistent thread in the writing. The Death Drive Mk.II minigame sequences break from the main loop entirely. The game is built as a conclusion to a series that started in 2007 and has accumulated considerable lore, references and returning characters across its sequels and spin-offs.

Key Features: • Galactic Superhero Rankings: fight ten alien bosses in order, each with a distinct arena and style • Beam katana combat with Death Glove specials, wrestling throws and a rechargeable gauge • Open-world Santa Destroy with side jobs, minigames and fourth-wall-breaking interactions • Suda51's metatextual writing: the game comments on itself, its genre and its own history • Travis Touchdown's series finale — builds on lore spanning No More Heroes 1 and 2
