Risk of Rain 2 is a roguelike third-person shooter from Hopoo Games — a bold and successful leap from the original 2013 Risk of Rain's 2D side-scroller roots into a fully realised 3D world. Stranded on the alien planet Petrichor V, you choose one of over a dozen survivors and fight through procedurally generated environments against increasingly overwhelming hordes of alien creatures. The game's defining mechanic is its difficulty scaling: the longer you survive, the more powerful — and numerous — the monsters become, creating escalating tension with every passing minute.
