Humanity's last survivors travel through fractured worlds to stop an evil reshaping reality. No two runs are the same.

The Root — a malevolent interdimensional corruption — is consuming the worlds it touches. The last survivors of humanity must travel through unstable world crystals to find and destroy the source before reality itself is unmade. Every world on the other side of those crystals is different each time someone steps through.

Remnant II is a third-person souls-adjacent shooter in which the player builds a character from a roster of Archetypes — each with its own passive abilities, active skills and a companion or equipment set — and travels through a series of procedurally assembled worlds, each pulled from a handcrafted pool of biomes, events, bosses and storylines that never generate the same combination twice. The worlds span a corrupted Victorian faerun city called Losomn, the jungle moon of Yaesha, the alien machine world of N'Erud and others, with each run through a world potentially encountering entirely different boss fights, NPC questlines and secrets. Gunplay is fast, ranged-focused and built around positioning and dodge timing in the style of FromSoftware's games. Up to three players can tackle all content in co-op. Three DLC expansions have added new worlds and bosses: The Awakened King, The Dark Horizon and The Forgotten Kingdom. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5.

Key Features: • Procedural world generation: handcrafted biomes, bosses and events reassembled differently each run • Archetypes system: Handler, Engineer, Summoner, Gunslinger and more, each with distinct builds • Third-person souls-adjacent shooter: positioning and dodge timing • 3-player online co-op
