A little girl named Max finds a dormant Guardian robot half-buried in the desert. She reboots it. The Guardian wakes up with no memory, no context and a single purpose: protect Max and figure out what happened to this scorched, robot-overrun future. The answer is somewhere beyond the next wave of killer machines.

Roboquest is a fast first-person shooter roguelite built around speed and momentum. Movement is everything: running, jumping and dashing across arenas while juggling weapons creates a flow state that rewards aggressive play over cautious positioning. Each run begins with a class selection that shapes the available perk tree, and upgrades at the central base camp unlock new starting options and shortcuts between runs. Loot drops from defeated enemies in real time, and weapons range from conventional rifles and shotguns to outlandish energy weapons and novelty tools that synergise with specific class builds. Branching paths between biomes let players choose which environments to visit each run. Online co-op supports two players with full cross-play between PC and Xbox. The game was developed by a small French indie team and published in partnership with Starbreeze Entertainment. Roboquest VR launched on 20 November 2025.
