Scarlet Nexus is an action JRPG developed by Bandai Namco Studios — a "Brain Punk" original IP from part of the team behind the Tales series, set in a far-distant future where a psionic hormone has been discovered in the human brain, granting people extra-sensory powers. Into this new world, deranged mutants called Others descend from the sky driven by an insatiable hunger for human brains, and the Other Suppression Force — an elite unit of psychic soldiers — is humanity's only defence. You choose your protagonist at the start: Yuito Sumeragi, an energetic recruit from a prestigious political family, or Kasane Randall, the enigmatic scout whose prodigious skill has earned her the OSF's attention. Both stories begin in the same world but follow diverging paths — and only playing both reveals the complete truth.
