You are not a soldier. You are a civilian trying to survive a war. There is a difference.

This War of Mine is one of the most powerful and important games ever made — a survival game that puts you not in the boots of a soldier, but in the crumbling shelter of ordinary civilians trapped inside a besieged city. Inspired by the 1992–96 Siege of Sarajevo, the game follows a rotating group of survivors — a builder, a chef, a former athlete, a child — as they try to endure the unendurable. During the day, snipers control the streets, so you stay inside: craft tools, manage morale, treat wounds and try to keep the shelter liveable. At night, you send someone out to scavenge — and every location you visit, every choice you make, leaves a mark.

Key Features: • Civilian war survival — not combat, but scavenging, crafting and moral decisions • Day/night cycle — shelter management by day, dangerous scavenging missions at night • Emotional moral choices — decisions with genuine weight and lasting psychological consequences • The Little Ones DLC — experience war survival through the eyes of a child
