Shot in the head and left for dead in the Mojave. The Courier walks back into the wasteland — for revenge.

* Prices for US region
In the Mojave Wasteland, a Courier is shot in the head and left for dead in a shallow grave. They survive. What follows is a trek across the post-nuclear American Southwest — through irradiated desert, crumbling casino floors and brutal military checkpoints — to find out who ordered the hit and why. At the end of that road is New Vegas: a city that never quite died, still lit and running thanks to the genius of Robert House, who preserved it through the war and now rules it from the Lucky 38 penthouse.

Fallout: New Vegas is the peak of the modern Fallout formula — an enormous open world built around political factions with genuinely competing philosophies. The New California Republic wants to restore democracy; Caesar's Legion enforces brutal Roman-inspired order; Mr. House plays his own long game; and the Courier can back any of them, betray all of them, or seize Vegas for themselves. Every major quest has multiple resolutions. The SPECIAL system, skill checks and Speech options give builds real mechanical weight. Four major DLC expansions — Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road — each add full story chapters that deepen the lore. The most beloved Fallout game by a wide margin, built in 18 months by the veterans who made Fallout 1 and 2.
