A house that has witnessed countless deaths. You are inside it alone. The darkness is watching back.

The house has a history. Everyone who has ever lived in it has died inside it, in different decades, under different circumstances, leaving something of themselves behind. The player wakes up inside it with no explanation and has to piece together what happened to each family before the house finishes what it started.

Visage is a first-person psychological horror game set in a single house that expands from room to room as the player uncovers the stories of three families who died within its walls. Each chapter — Lucy, Dolores and Rakan — reconstructs a different era of the house's history through environmental clues, photographs, diary entries and the intrusion of each family's ghost into the present. The sanity system is the game's central mechanical pressure: remaining in darkness or witnessing supernatural events depletes sanity, and at zero the player begins to hallucinate and is hunted by an entity that cannot be reasoned with. Light management is therefore the practical core of survival, with candles, lighters and light switches all serving as tools against the dark. The house is fully non-linear — all areas are accessible from the start and the player determines the order of exploration. Visage draws explicit inspiration from the cancelled Silent Hills P.T. demo and is widely cited as the closest thing to it that exists.

Key Features: • Three chapter stories: Lucy, Dolores and Rakan each reconstruct a different family's death in a different era • Sanity system: darkness and supernatural events deplete sanity · zero triggers hallucinations and pursuit • Candle and light management as the core survival mechanic throughout the house • Fully non-linear house: all areas accessible from the start with player-determined exploration order • P.T. inspired psychological horror with sustained dread over jump scares
